The 1-to-1 iPod/iPad Literacy Program helps students improve their reading fluency through the use of digital books, apps and handheld technology. Students digitally record reading samples, listen to literature recordings, and interact with a variety of applications and resources. Student self-evaluation is key to the project.
The following elementary schools are currently participating in this program: Albion, Alexander Robinson, Davie Jones, Eric Langton, Golden Ears, Glenwood, Hammond, Harry Hooge, Kanaka Creek, Laity View, Maple Ridge Elementary, Pitt Meadows Elementary, Whonnock, Yennadon.
